There’s free street parking along Fourth Avenue, and a secure lot behind the block off Ninth Street. Our car guard works the strip until seven. Arrive about five minutes before your slot so we have time for a proper consultation.

Do you take walk-ins?
We do, whenever a chair is free — but Parkhurst gets busy from midday and on Saturdays we're usually fully booked by mid-morning. If you have a time in mind, booking is the safer bet.
How early should I arrive?
Five minutes before your slot is perfect. That gives us time for a proper consultation without eating into your chair time. We hold appointments for ten minutes past the booked time.
What if I need to cancel or move my appointment?
Just let us know at least 24 hours ahead and we'll move it at no charge — a phone call or a WhatsApp is fine. Short-notice cancellations and no-shows are covered in our Terms.
Can I request a specific barber?
Always. You can pick your barber during booking, and the calendar will only show you the days that barber is actually in the shop. Choosing "Any available barber" opens up the most time slots.
Is there parking on Fourth Avenue?

Which payment methods do you accept?
Card, cash, SnapScan and Zapper, all in-store after your appointment. We don't take a deposit for standard bookings.
Do you cut children's hair?
Yes — Kids Cuts are for under 12s and Ayanda handles most of them. Under 16s need a parent or guardian in the shop for the appointment.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
We do, for any service or as an open amount. Pop into the shop or give us a call and we'll sort one out. They're valid for twelve months.
